    Mallory holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Florida and a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. He also attended seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and has several years of experience in ministry, insurance, and education.

    As a counselor, Mallory has worked in both private practice and non-profit counseling for over fifteen years. He is passionate about helping people find healing from trauma.

    Mallory is married to his wife, Amy, and they have two teenage children. In his free time, he enjoys saltwater fishing, football, and biking. He takes full advantage of any opportunity to go to the Florida Keys.

    LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR

    QUALIFIED SUPERVISOR

    John has served as a Pastor for over 40 years with a focus on care and counseling. He received a Master of Counseling degree in 2003 from Reformed Theological Seminary and has served a dual role of Pastor and Licensed Counselor for the past 23 years at Northland Church. He also holds a certificate as a Qualified Counselor Supervisor. 

    John takes a relational approach to counseling to engage in a client’s story with curiosity in a safe place to provide healing and Spiritual direction. He enjoys working with individuals dealing with grief, depression and anxiety and life transitions.

    John works with couples for pre-marital and those struggling in their marriage. John is certified in EMDR for those dealing with various forms of trauma.

    When John is not counseling you will find him on his 10 acres working in his vegetable garden, caring for animals, fishing with a grandkid or reading a good book at Starbucks before his workday begins.

    LUCEE PRICE

    LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR

    As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Lucee’s desire is to help people get relief from the pain that can feel devastating and hopeless. It is possible to feel whole again. People in all stages of life journey through uncharted paths that can lead to confusion, anxiety, and despair. It is possible to live a life worth living.

    Although she works with people at any stage in life, Lucee specializes in working with teens and young adults who struggle with suicidal ideation, self-harm, and borderline personality disorder. She also has years of experience working with those in addiction and those coming out of incarceration, domestic violence, or human trafficking. Her main modalities are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

    In her free time, Lucee enjoys hugging her husband, facetiming her new grandson, kayaking on a lake, napping, and coffee dates with friends!

    RACHEL KEY

    REGISTERED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR INTERN

    Rachel earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2025. She works with teens and adults navigating life’s ups and downs—from big transitions like starting college, re-entering the workforce, or adjusting to an empty nest, to challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, infertility, and adoption-related concerns.

    Rachel is known for being warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. She believes therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or overly clinical—her style is down-to-earth, engaging, and often includes moments of humor when it feels right. She works to create a space where clients can be themselves and feel genuinely understood.

    As an adoptive parent, Rachel brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her work, offering a deeper level of empathy and connection. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy to help clients make sense of their stories, challenge unhelpful patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change.

    In her free time, Rachel enjoys reading, going for walks, coaching volleyball, traveling with her family.

  • TYLER PICKETT

    REGISTERED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING INTERN

    Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Ball State University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. With 10 years of experience in ministry, he is passionate about helping clients experience the love and healing of Christ through a Christian framework.

    Tyler specializes in supporting young adults, college students, and professionals navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and ministry burnout. His clinical approach integrates evidence-based therapy with practical executive functioning support to help clients manage ADHD, focus, and daily overwhelm. He works with adolescents and adults using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

    Tyler is married and loves spending time with his wife and kids—whether that’s making up silly games, perfecting his dad jokes, playing disc golf, or obsessing over homemade pizza!

  • ALEXIS PARKER

    REGISTERED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPY INTERN

    Alexis obtained her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University and focused on systemic therapies. She is passionate about helping families better understand each other and helping individuals of all ages adjust to new life experiences.

    Alexis completed her internship in private practice, working with a wide range of clients; however, she mainly works with children, teens, families, and those dealing with anxiety through life transitions. Her modalities include Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Structural Family Therapy (SFT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Bowenian Family Therapy. She works through a systemic lens with an emphasis on somatic experiencing. 

    In her free time, Alexis crafts, reads, spends time with friends and her cat, and watches pro-shots of her favorite plays and musicals.

    REV. DR. DAVID DEL PRADO

    STUDENT INTERN

    David has been a pastor for over 30 years, 24 years of which were spent serving as a chaplain for the United States Air Force in the reserves and on active duty. He also served as a chaplain the in hospital and in hospice for over six years. He earned a Master’s of Divinity in 2000 and a Ph.D. in 2023 in Psychology and Counseling in Trauma and Crisis both from Regent University. He is now completing a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in pursuit of licensure in Florida.

    David enjoys connecting with people, so they feel supported. He believes that in providing a space for people to express themselves is the beginning of healing and growth from trauma, stressors, and loss. David offers premarital and marital counseling, stress counseling, and much more, in addition to Spiritual direction. David’s counseling approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and integrating it with other approaches. CBT examines a person’s thinking style to collaboratively create self-awareness of thoughts that negatively impact behavior, assisting with reframing or changing thinking and behavior to improve a person’s quality of life and reach wellness goals.

    David enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends, exercising, engaging in aquatic activities, watching movies, traveling together, and working in the garden, in addition to prayer and Biblical studies.

  • Jenny Sorto

    STUDENT INTERN

    Jenny is pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University and is expected to graduate in December 2026. She brings seven years of experience teaching high school students, where she developed a passion for supporting individuals through meaningful and often transitional seasons of growth. Jenny enjoys working with young adults and women, while remaining open to clients of all ages and backgrounds. She is especially drawn to helping individuals navigate identity, life transitions, self-worth, grief, and faith-related struggles, creating a space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported.

    Jenny’s counseling approach is warm, relational, and goal-oriented, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), client-centered, narrative, and attachment-based approaches. She balances empathy with honesty, helping clients build insight while also working toward lasting change. For those who desire it, Jenny is open to incorporating faith into the counseling process in a thoughtful and respectful way. Originally from Los Angeles and now based in Orlando, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, being involved in her community, watching movies, exploring nature, and taking day trips around Florida. Jenny offers both in-person and telehealth sessions for individuals (ages 12+) and couples.

    In her spare time, she likes to try new restaurants, coffee shops, and traveling.

  • DAN SHEERIN

    NARRATIVE FOCUSED TRAUMA CARE (NFTC) CERTIFIED FACILITATOR

    Through his own work to find healing through Narrative Focused Trauma Care (NFTC), pioneered by Dan Allender at The Allender Center, in Seattle. Dan started a healing and growth journey that has brought him to start work in full time ministry as a NFTC Certified Facilitator.  

    Dan has leveraged a career in executive leadership and talent development, as well as two decades in church ministry, to build upon his NFTC certification in order to create an entire educational and development program around the narrative care he provides through story groups.

    Dan also offers classes introducing concepts to patients and clients of therapeutic professionals to help them understand the healing process and, to create a more collaborative approach to their work together. By understanding how our bodies experience and respond to stress and our stories, we can find places to focus our work, find healing, and ultimately, personal flourishing. 

    In his free time, Dan loves spending time with his wife and four children playing board games, eating good food, or going to the movies. Dan loves jazz music, graphic design and good conversations over coffee.
